after a fabulous weekend, and pleased to see that the dahlia eaters haven't completely finished off the new bud.

"The Entertainer" (Saturday night) and "No Man's Land" (Friday night) were both marvellous. There really is nothing quite like the best of British actors in quality drama.

(For those of you curious about how the interesting hotel shaped up - it was far less horrendous than the reviews we had found after we'd booked it. The room was ridiculously too hot, the breakfast was pretty dull, but it was well located and friendly.)
