Lifting the spirits

It has been a difficult day today with the devastating news that a close friend of ours has terminal cancer. We were both feeling pretty down and headed out for a drive in the car this evening over towards the Tattie Bogal Festival of scarecrows to see if we could lift our spirits with a bit of fun searching for all the scarecrows. It has been pretty cloudy all day but as we headed out the sun broke through the clouds throwing a beautiful light onto the Cuillins. The view was stunning and certainly helped to lift our spirits a little bit
