A final lunch

Now on way back to London after six great days in Belgium with my good long standing friend, J. We went back to a cafe previously visited for lunch today and were greeted as regulars. It was good food, relaxed and lively surroundings and completed a good break. This is the blip.

It is fair to say that holidaying can be a bit tasking. Luckily we share some frailties including walking so we managed ourselves well and still managed to get around. Two afternoons I slept to recover and this helped. In the end the sign of a good holiday Is not only to have survived it but to have seen plenty of new sites, ate well, drank a bit, delighted with Bruges, and talked, debated and generally swapped ideas and thoughts. Also a bit of photography.

London bound staying with my daughter although she is not there. Bit of work tomorrow then the final cricket of the season at Lords hoping for a Yorkshire victory.
