Mono Monday Challenge: Seasonal
It's Newmarket Autumn Fashion Week and the equestrian community is eagerly awaiting what the designers have in store. Mono is definitely the colour of the season, and here October Mist is modelling one of the latest designs. Cut loosely around the forelegs, it allows plenty of room for that occasional canter round the field whilst being snug enough to keep warm on those chilly mornings outside. Carefully designed dual rear vents have a double purpose; they allow the tail plenty of movement when required (those late September flies can be a pest) whilst also providing suitable ventilation for when the side effects of all those oats becomes a little obvious. Take note of this season's length; the hem is kept well short of the fetlocks so shouldn't be fouled by any mud, and it won't snag on any thorns when practicing the jumps. A practical rather than radical design change for the season, but one which will, I'm sure, prove a hit in the shires.
Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting the Mono Monday challenge this month!
