Monday afternoon

Visited three parks and did not see a single monarch butterfly. Temp is ideal 88 F/31 C, but the butterflies which were in town seem to have flown the coop.

The smallest park with towering oak trees had the most bird and wildlife activity, including this squirrel which was eating nuts when not staring at me.
