"That Flower is Mine"

Monarch butterflies switched and are now feeding on violet and purple flowers. The yellow flowers are older and perhaps do not have the same amount/taste of nectar as a few days ago.

In this view one can get an idea of the muscles and effort involved in flying, and the point at which a butterfly's wings connect to the abdomen.

Prior to processing this photo was too uniformly bright and busy. Made extensive use of filter gradients and a radial gradient to darken the edges and highlight the butterfly.
