I bought the books I'll need for next semester today. Two classes, three textbooks plus an access for an online something or other. I managed to find two of the books used, but not the third one. I was floored to see the total amount owed.

Expensive thing, education. As I am not officially in the program yet, I have no financial aid. This is why I am teaching a class at my department, to pay for the first semester. It should be amusing, to be a student and a prof at the same time :-)
