Tiny Bowls
Maybe technically this isn't tiny enough for Tiny Tuesday, but I'm going to tag it anyway! :)
Took part in an excellent three hour cooking course today in Ubud. It was run by a rather amazing man called Ketut, who laughed very infectiously after every sentence, so that you had to laugh with him. What a great way to make people happy.
We cooked Soup Ayam (chicken soup), Ayam Bumbu Bali (Balinese fried chicken), Pepes Ikan (steamed fish in banana leaf), Sate Ayam Sauce Kacang (chicken satay with peanut sauce) and Kolak Pisang (braised banana Saba in palm sugar gravy).
There was ten of us on the course from all different parts of the world (UK, NZ, Germany, Philippines and Spain), so when we sat down to eat the meal we had cooked there was some very interesting conversations to be had. :)
