PEACOCK BUTTERFLY
on the last flowers of our Buddleia.
At 8 am this morning the Phone rang. Perhaps I was still sleeping, perhaps I was almost awake. Anyway, Piet Hein's sister was calling, telling us that she was staying in Göttingen and she and her husband loved to visit us on their way home, how about a cup of coffee?
Piet Hein's answer was affirmative of course and there they were and told us what amazing journey they had had, visiting Poland and several interesting towns in the East of Germany too.
They still had a long trip before them and left before lunchtime.
In the afternoon Piet Hein and I drove (after our nap) to the Forellenhof for a walk over the plain there. A pleasant walk with rather pretty views.
We even lied down in the grass, resting with the sun on our faces.
It had been a lovely sight this morning when so many butterflies came to enjoy our Buddleia. And some even let me take their portraits.
Huge thanks to dbifulco for hosting the Tiny Tuesday challenge.
