TWO MUSHROOMS
These fungi were not the only ones we saw today on our walk.
There were bright red ones too, but someone had eaten pieces of the hood already.
A quiet Sunday for us. In the morning with a bit of sunshine reading our books on the balcony.
For the afternoon we planned a simple walk along the Weser, eastwards.
Raincoat on or with us.
We walked the path nearest to the river and when we met a man who asked what we were looking intently at (it was a tiny mouse hiding in the grass), told us that he had thought we were seeing a fire salamader, as he had seen at the higher path, several indeed, but they were dead, actually, he said, Hit by a car.
We decided not to go back on that route.
Later in the afternoon we spoke to Mischa on the phone. Soon we will meet again, how wonderful is that.
My haiku:
Keeping each other
Company? Like us? We asked
They only nodded
And the proverb:
No broth,no ball; no ball, no beef.
