Dolmio Day

I came home to so many tomatoes I didn't know what to do with them!

Mama A had been taking them while we were away, but even she had a dish full so left loads for me to pick when we got back.
By mistake, she'd also bought a basil plant (rather than bay), so I decided I could combine the two and make my own pasta sauce.

I had the kilner jars already (which I bought for jam that I never made!), and by adding the sauce to the jar while it was hot, it's vacuum sealed the jar!
A huge pan made 5 jars of sauce, bargain ;-)
