Happy Birthday

It was the 65th birthday of our house guest, Susie, and my daughter and her hubby spent the entire day making a wonderfully elaborate Mexican meal. A good time was had by all.

Earlier, Susie, J and I had visited an old friend in Uig on Lewis, then drove up to Ness to be passengers on a "Blackhouse Bus Tour" which took us, and visitors from around the world, on a tour of locations from my book. It was a strange experience revisiting the scenes of imaginary events as if they had actually happened. But thoroughly enjoyable nonetheless!
