Distillation

Had a private tour of the Harris Distillery in Tarbert today, delivered by Shona, pictured here in front of the stills. Extraordinary place, where everything has been thought through to the finest detail. That's reflected in the quality of the wonderful gin they are producing (after a brief hiatus caused by a shortage of bottles), and the hint of the whisky to come in 2020 - when it has finally matured.

A rather wet and blustery afternoon ended in glorious sunset, as seen in my "extra" today.
