Stationary

Pootling back to the car with Ewan last night I was explaining how the cycle paths used to be train lines, which is a bit of a revelation to someone who only knows of trains as underground urban systems or overground inter-city systems. What? Trains scuttling around cities like buses on rails? He's seen trams. Anyway, I mentioned that on some parts of the path the old stations were still there. Like this one.

Of course, I have only a vague idea of where it is having joined the path right at the start in Leith and cycled up to this. Tracing it on Google Maps shows the front of it on Craighall Road looking sad and derelict but someone's been working on the back. Would make nice offices.
