International Day of Peace

Apparently today is the International Day of Peace....and lacking any photos, I thought an emergency candle blip would have to suffice!
Experienced my own steps towards peace today as a Roma woman and I had a lovely greeting...her face went from stony & set to lit up and friendly, and just because of a 'hello'... Steps towards peace between 2 disconnected communities.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) A brilliant morning with the book Spirit of the Disciplines.
2) That moment with the Roma woman from Sa Penya. 
3) Asha's continued happiness at the baby news - she's been deciding which of her toys she'd like to give it as a gift!
