Getting notorious

Set out today knowing what we wanted to do after work (get the Peugeot's Salik tag sorted so G can drive through toll gates), but the day changed completely, when at the end of her work day, G went to start the Volvo, and it wouldn't start! Argh.

Definite signs that the battery was OK, but no sound of the starter kicking in... so in typical G style, she went under the bonnet, and loosened the throttle (no idea what would make her think of doing that), but it worked! So, she drove to pick me up, and we both went to Volvo! I think the mechanics are quite amazed she can diagnose its problems so well! Anyway, they looked at it and fortunately, we were able to drive back home in it...

Except G was hungry by this stage, so we ended up at The Square in Wafi... where we didn't sit in the usual place, but we did order our usual. The meal arrived, and a minute later... so did the Chef! He wanted to meet us. Oh dear. Anyway... we had a chat about food; and he was happy to pose for a picture, so Chef Surender and G... we have been encouraged to try something different on the menu, which we will - next time.

It is Wild Wednesday! We had a dessert today - Chocolate fondant which was AMAZING! And wild!
