Greedy Swans

I waited about 5mins for these 2 swans and their cygnet to stop eating. But no, I could not get them to pose and show how handsome they are. I love this part of the Ouse where the gardens on the opposite bank sweep down to the water's edge.

Pleasant afternoon in London visiting a schoolfriend.. delicious lunch of two starters and a pud. That is my favourite eating choice at present as starters seem so much more delicious than big plates of main meals. And then there is room for a pud, with no guilt attached.

Ghastly journey home from Kings Cross...a man had been struck by a train at Alexandra Palace so regular service was badly disrupted. Fortunately Jack was up in London for work today so we met up and travelled together. ...the train travelling at a snail's pace most of the way!

The cats were starving and very cross with us!
