A Pod of Pelicans!

It was Pelican Paradise for blippers at Forster this morning.  It's actually an extremely windy day and we noticed this Pod of Pelicans all huddled up to protect themselves from the wind as we walked around to the beach for our daily coffee fix.  

I had just decided I would leave my Sony in the motor home and just trust my iphone6.  Silly girl!!  Luckily for me, they were still there and had hardly moved a muscle by the time we arrived back at the park an hour and a half later.

I have added an extra of a few characters who had nestled down on the land side of the wall.  They had bagged the prime spots out of the wind.

PS - I have just added another fun sign that as outside the cafe in Urunga yesterday.  
"Everyday thousands of innocent plants are killed by vegetarians - Help end the violence and eat bacon"
