Revamped - and out of order

Had to go downtown this morning and decided to take the new VLT (light rail vehicle) up the revamped and otherwise traffic-free main drag. It all looked wonderful and I got a quick shot of a VLT as I approached. But when I enquired about tickets, they told me service was suspended due to a gas leak at the junction of the two main axes of the city. Oh dear. Tried to warn “our” volunteer, who was also heading downtown with a friend, but she had already left home and her phone wasn’t on wifi.
 
So back home for lunch, then to physio, which actually seemed to do some good for once, before edging through crazy traffic to choir. Tonight is M, “our” volunteer’s, last night, so she relaxed her strict diet and we shared some wine and nibbles together when we got back. We’ll miss her.
