Sad news

We were all set to go to the hills this afternoon, dropping M (volunteer) off at the airport on the way, when we heard that our son-in-law’s mother had died. She only arrived back yesterday from 6 months with him and the family in the UK. Everyone’s in shock and we’ve arranged for him to fly over, but the earliest he can get here is tomorrow evening. Poor lad.
 
The flower arrangement was made by s-i-law’s grandmother, who died not so many years ago. Her daughter had never got over her loss, so the photo is a tribute to both of them.
 
Meantime, M’s Rio Fairy Godmother has taken here to the airport, where she’s checked in and all set for her return to Switzerland.
