Oakland Bay Bridge
A. What is going on in the photo? During the summer my dad and I took a vacation to Sacramento, California for a track and field event. My dad and I traveled on a bridge called the Oakland Bay Bridge. This picture was taken July, 27, 2016 in San Francisco.
B. How is it related to a specific human geography concept from the current unit or previous unit?
- This picture of the Oakland Bay Bridge ties into site. There is a body of water located under the bridge, the San Francisco bay flows into the pacific bay also. This bridge stretches between Oakland and San Francisco. The cars, cable stayed and construction signs are located on the bridge.

- Place: A physical characteristic about the Oakland Bay bridge is that it is located over the San Francisco Bay. The climate there was about high sixty-seven degrees fahrenheit. As we were heading to the Oakland Bay bridge, I looked around my surroundings and it caught my attention on how congested the scenery was. Human Characteristics for example, neighborhoods, roads, and downtown areas are excessively populated. In addition, Interstate 80 is a direct road within San Francisco.
