Hammersmith Heron

I decided to go to Hammersmith this afternoon for a walk along by the Thames on this beautiful, roasty toasty day! I walked along to Chiswick and back. I usually go as far as Barnes, but was rather late getting there today (plus I was a bit hot, tired and slow from my late night out last night..nothing to do with the red wine(s) I consumed after the concert of course!)

I saw this casual pecking heron..another bird photo. Just call me Jeanette Oddy.
