Stepping Stones

No, these aren't my hairy legs, they belong to my son. He decided to come with me to Richmond today. We had a lovelywalk in the sun along the river, through Petersham Meadows (we noticed the cows were now surrounded by an electric fence) and up to Richmond Park. We walked over to the Isabella Plantation, which was all very green now the rhododendruns and azaleas have finished flowering, it's absolutely beautiful in Spring. It's the first time I've come across these stepping stones, I managed to cross them without slipping, breaking my neck and..most importantly..didn't drop my camera in there!

We spotted a beautiful, bright blue dragonfly and were both trying to take shots of it. My son's were very impressive with his DSLR..mine were just a pathetic blurred blue stick which my son found absolutely hilarious (how rude!)
