Birds of a feather

Two pictures of a couple of birds we met whilst we were away. ..ten points if you can identify the bird in the corner .... Unfortunately we are not away anymore as we walked into the house at 1545 having left at 1015. So five & a half hours including a 30 minute stop at Bristol - it's about our usual journey time. We missed the A 30 roadworks by using the A 39 then joining the A 30 further north. A good uneventful journey apart from the car telling me it needs a service when it doesn't & also telling me one of my tyres was flat when it wasn't. Time to change cars I think.

Merlot was no-where to be seen when we got home but M next door assured us that she had seen him a couple of times during the day. They were very kind looking after Merlot & we took their bag of goodies round soon after we got in.

N & R & Z are calling in with fish & chips tonight so a good end to the holiday.

A fine day but cloudy 

The washing machine is on & we need to buy a tumble drier next week !
Autumn / Winter draws on !!
