Olympic Park Gig

What an amazing day! Sure, negotiating London public transport with four guitars and a violin was tricky; there was a mix up at pass collection; and we walked miles and miles - literally: Olympic Park is HUUGE!

We had a blast playing in the pop up stage - which looked like a sharks head to me. Two performances in the bandstand for the public to see and one for the press. This meant we got to go backstage and got to see bits of the park behind closed doors! Apart from playing a once in a lifetime gig some of the highlights of the day included being driven across the park in golf buggies and also managing to convince security to let us into the hockey stadium to use their toilets just before our final performance.

I'm so glad I've been able to keep my fancy London 2012 pass. A pretty unique souvenir. It's a fantastic site for the Olympics.
