Warner Bros. Studios - The Making of Harry Potter
I think I was more excited about today than going to the Olympics! My family came down to London yesterday while I was playing in Olympic Park and met up with me afterwards as the crowds streamed out to Stratford. Today we went to Watford to visit the studios where they made the eight Harry Potter films and have recently opened up an exhibition. It was one of the best museums I've ever been to. Getting to see all the costumes, sets, props and special effects up close was fantastic. The art department's attention to detail in every newspaper and letter made up was quite something.
Mum and I enjoyed the infamous butterbeer from the books - can only be sampled here and in the theme park in Florida. So many great photos to choose from such as Diagon Alley, the Knight Bus, the Burrow, the Great Hall...but I decided to go with this miniature scale model of Hogwarts which was absolutely stunning.
I left the studios with a time turner keyring, a chocolate frog and a massive smile on my face :)
