The Coral Beach
Or marle beach. It rained this morning, quite heavily. We joined several coachloads of our tourist friends from the good old US of A in shuffling around Dunvegan Castle.
After lunch and a surprisingly pleasant wander around the Castle gardens, we headed to the Claigan beach. Far enough from the road to deter the coaches, it felt suitably wild and certainly unique with its weird sand.
The wind blew from the north west so we found shelter behind a rock outcrop and searched the sand for the tiniest of shells. A seal watched us from the water.
