Varenna

A visit to Varenna today including lunch in the main square. The church was very busy with weddings. There was one just finishing when we arrived at the restaurant. Then the church was prepared for another wedding which started as we were finishing lunch. As we were having a stroll around the village we came across another couple still in their wedding clothes having their photographs taken.

The village was quite busy, and their were lots of motor bikes. Maybe there was some kind of motor bike convention in the area of Lake Como. The ferries were also full of motor bikes. It must be swealteringly hot in this temperature with all the protective gear on.
