Rounded up!

All the Herdwicks and the lambs on the trail have been rounded up and are on display at Rheged before they are auctioned at the start of October. Some of them are very bright  (and a bit odd). I fancied one for the garden but they are likely to be going for very high prices so now I am wondering whether to follow the auction on line and try to get a lamb (see the extra). If anyone wonders why I would want a black lamb this is because Herdwicks are born black and only slowly change colour.
