...of the John Day Fossil Beds.


A great stand alone, in the middle of nowhere, central Oregon.
I love the roadway next to it that brings back that feeling of driving by it, and deciding that this was another one to pull over for.

The close second, was seen in our stay in Dayville, about twenty minutes away. We walked to the Dayville Mercantile and saw this old house. It evoked many questions about its past, like most good derelicts.
