The Kids

Today, well ... was up at sparrows fart again and back to the airport, off to Queenstown.

It started looking a bit rocky when the flight was delayed due to weather, so I checked out the web cam in Queenstown - bad. Strike 1. Anyway, we boarded the plane and flew off with the captain advising of bad weather. Strike 2. So we got there, and circled above the cloud for 15 minutes, the miraculously we broke thru and lined up for the runway. Down, down, down, then suddenly, up, up, up. "That's an aborted approach ladies and gentleman?". Back to Christchurch. Strike 3. At least I got a plane ride for free - sweet ;-)

I know, I know, never fly Qantas to Queenstown. Only fly Air NZ, they have the good navigation equipment. Seriously.

Anyway, back to the office and then home, at a reasonable time. And more photos. Last nights portraits didn't suit the label so I had to start again.

I seriously wanted to blip some great flying shots, but thought these guys are too good. I don't get the chance to shoot them together very often.

And, I bet in the last 3 days or so I have just about doubled my blip portraits ;-)
