The son of the owners of this property is developing a deep bed gardening system and decided to build a pyramid shaped green house beside it. He then thought to line the internal steps with stone work with the base to have a cobbled finish. He spent some time in Egypt and very taken with the pyramids and hopes this shape will help the plants grow well.

As you can see the soil is very sandy and dry, he planted a few different seeds in the compost laddened deep bed last week and they are now through and need thinning out, very different to the growing conditions we have at home.

Of course 'the dog' is a great help, in the background is the place we are staying, everywhere is very dry, we don't mind because once back home....to the left is a raised pool with solar panels to increase the water temperature, and no, we haven't tried it.
