Let the fun commence ....

Our SLPH Facebook group were off to the Lake District. Twelve of us were meeting up for a weeks photography and a bit of fun!

Not the best journey i've ever had up there - what would normally take me 4 hours on a good run, took me 7 3/4 hours!! The traffic was horrendous all the way up and it rained throughout the journey :(  Finally pulled off the M6 and was heading down the A66 when the sun made an appearance ... things were looking up :) 

Arrived at our hotel, The Coledale Inn in Braithwaite, at 6.15pm.  Just enough time to unpack and  grab a quick shower (and take this pic out my bedroom window) before meeting the others in the bar for a pre dinner drink.
