Tomb in a Churchyard

Thomas Murray must have been a very sad man. His first 5 children were born and died in infancy, then he lost his wife and a 16 year old daughter within 2 days of each other. Why this tomb still stands when all others have been taken away, is, maybe, a reminder of how short life was not so long ago. Nowadays old people, who really do not want to live any longer, are filled with drugs to keep them "alive". Mum was smiling today but is so tired. She says she just wants to sleep and not wake up.

We are back to our lives in Switzerland now, the guilt of leaving always in the background.
