Monday: Seaplane

This is one of the ways you get from Vancouver to Victoria, on Vancouver island. I had my first trip on the seaplane today and it's really something. They are just small 12 seaters and the view is just amazing.

Victoria is strangely British but with Canadian features. Unfortunately, I haven't really had time to explore but I am looking forward to coming back.

I was here today to attend a reception at the Lt Governor's for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who are currently here. I spoke to him - he is absolutely charming (and very tall......). Unfortunately, there was a complete ban on taking any form of camera in so you'll just have to take my word for it.
