Golden Bay Resort

We are ensconced at the Golden Bay Resort for the next four days. After three weeks of exhausting travel we thought we would treat ourselves to some beach time on the island of Crete. My wife picked a beautiful location (see above) for our first time on the Mediterranean. This is the view from the beach directly in front of our hotel and while the ocean is too cold for me to enter it is very photogenic. Makes getting up at 3:00 am worthwhile when this is the view with which you end that day's travel adventure.
