Peristyle, "Diocletian's Palace", Split, Croatia

Another view of the peristyle (see my blip of 27th September 2016), this time taken with my back to the imperial apartments.  At the right are columns adjacent to the cathedral in original state, at left the columns have provided the facade and support for some more recent buildings.  The buildings at rear are of course not Roman.
