Footbridge over the Till

After one of MrM's big Sunday breakfasts, we went down to Alnwick to do the shopping that we didn't quite get round to yesterday! Called at Branton Lakes on the way there for a walk with Louie - MrM parked by the footbridge over the River Till. Very little water in the River at present, and we walked over some of the riverbed to the water. 

Shopping complete, it was back to the flat for a short while before MrM drove us and a friend up to the Borders for a meal with C&E. They're Dolly's people - Dolly loves Louie but he's getting rather too old and staid to put up with her amorous advances! A lovely evening of delicious food and wine in good company.
