Hidden Beauty

My latest passion in art is glass fusion.  this rosette was
made with a re-sourced broken beer bottle, , and slumped
in a ceramic mold via a kiln heated to 1485 degrees. 

I am most interested in using recycled materials and am fascinated
by the layering of different colors and shapes when held up
to light.  The process tells me more about hidden beauty
and the necessity of humans to be constantly in search of
of this beauty.

Just want you to know, I drank the beer before I broke the
bottle. ;=]
