Lone tree.

This tree was photgraphed from the old railway line that used to pass through Blackwood in Lanarkshire. We took Mum a walk along here this morning. On the road down we passed an old bridge which was part of Lairsbridgend where my Great Granny used to live. Mum remembers visiting when she was young but alas no houses remain. She was thrilled to see the bridge remained though and got her photo taken at it!

After such a hot day yesterday we have had an afternoon at home in the shade! Even Rona decided that would be a good idea.
