Old Barn at dawn
Lady M spotted this barn yesterday and said it looked to be just the sort I like. I climbed out as the day was dawning and drove the mile or so to get back there. The light was just creeping over the hills behind it and there was dew on the grass (and soaking my sandals). I spent about an hour doing al the angles but the one I like best is the first shot I took.
We went off to Martel this morning and it's a lovely little town (we had a great lunch too) and it was great to walk around with the help of a leaflet from the tourism office.
We met the owners of our gite yesterday and had drinks with them this evening. His name is Tim Manakee and his main business is running photgraphic tours. Funny how it works out, isn't it?
There are a few more from yesterday on Flickr. Internet’s hopeless at the moment.
