Happy dogs frolicking

Had work in Cockermouth late this afternoon and as it was a hot day thought it would be nice to take my visiting dogs with me for a dip in Bassenthwaite before heading for home. Poor Bonnie just didn't want to come, she's not really coping with the heat very well and is really showing her age at the moment. I'm in the Lakes again tomorrow and hopefully will be able to tempt her then.

Anyhow, it was very hazy in the lakes, what happened to the sun?? but very warm and the two dogs had lots of fun chasing after a stick in the water. There was a couple there with binoculars who'd spotted an Osprey in the distance and were hoping that it would come closer. I wonder if they were rewarded!

As I was typing this I was also watching Mo win his 2nd Gold, yee haa, well done Mo :)
