Building a perfect bench. Perfect or not, besides woodworking, spending a lazy Saturday watching Olympic race walking, javelin throwing, mountain biking and ladies high jump on TV.

Getting ready for tomorrow's MTB race, that is.

The bench materials come from various sources. My neighbour gave me the planks that were part of railway wood delivery for local pulp factory from Russia. The non-standard timber (actually all used timber is of non-standard dimensions) was found from local forest where Ikea is planning to build a shop. My revenge to Swedish furniture retail giant.
