Kilda

Unusual day to day. Sort of started getting to the airport OK and hitting the BA lounge. Managed to stay awake to have some nice food on the plane before going to sleep. Didn’t sleep to well as the plane was very hot and woke up with a bit of a hangover. Took ages for the bags to come through and then got questioned by a custom officer on the way out. Collected the car and said goodbye to holiday mum and dad. J did the first part of the drive while I slept. M25 was a nightmare and the last bit around Birmingham wasn’t much better on my bit of the driving. Kilda was very please to see us. She is very firry now and like us has put on a bit of weight. Spoke to Mum and Dad’s heart valve replacement operation went well. They didn’t have to sedate him for as long as they expected which is good news. He is conscious so will go and see him tomorrow. Early to bed as we were tired.
