A high tarn
Day 8 of the Dales High Way, from Sedburgh to Newbiggin-on-Lune.
The Way goes over the top of the Howgill Fells. After a long steady climb up to Calders and then The Calf, it's a delightful broad ridge. The weather was ideal for walking, and this sort of open upland is what I like best.
Both of my blips are panoramas; the main one of a small tarn 500m north of The Calf, and the wider panorama was taken on the way up, shortly after crossing Arant Haw.
