Bloodsucker

If you spend time in the fells and sprawling around in the heather eating a picnic lunch I suppose it's bound to happen sooner or later.
We planned to leave early to avoid the worst of the traffic but just as we were about to leave I spotted a tick on my arm.
We went to the nearest pharmacy to get a gadget to pull it out but they said they had to advise me to go to the local cottage hospital to get the nurse to remove it. I'm going to be better prepared next time!
I had to get LooseCanon to take the photo because it's impossible to take a photo of your own right wrist!
