Tweed Valley Tunnel Trail race

The inaugural event of this 20km race was a resounding success I think. The weather was kind and all organisation seemed to run without too much problems. Approaching the finish, we were routed into the disused Neidpath railway tunnel - 600m of darkness broken by orbing lights. Disorientation was one way of describing the feeling as I plodded along the rough pebbles, my feet unseen.
