The latest moose

Our friends were away from the dock at 8:00am , just as the rain and wind started.   Good timing..they are on their way to Whistler, H cleaned up the ramp from yesterday's work, and then we cut the rest of the broom we started the other day.  Of course it took longer than we thot! .  After that a lay down to rest the back was in order!!.. With the sat opera  (gorgeous Der Freischutz by von Weber) blasting on the radio, and my iPad full of apps to play with.   Can't begin to tell what went into this but I better quit and get ready to leave in the morning.    The driftwood moose isn't quite finished -need that perfect other antler -  it has a welded metal frame underneath from an old project ...not exactly Deborah Butterfield, (!)  but a fun work in progress. ..
