Get Me Outta Here!

We went to the first Bellingham SeaFeast today and were very impressed with the variety of interesting activities and displays. The seafood on offer was excellent, including paella, grilled oysters, and salmon prepared in the traditional way by members of the local Lummi Tribe -- see extra.

The Coast Guard helicopter demonstrated a water rescue and lifted another person out of a boat. There was so much spray generated from the rotor downwash that it was hard to see exactly what was happening.
