Bright branch

Home territory again, and a beautiful day after the morning mist cleared. There's so much to do after a holiday, but with hours of sitting yesterday we had to walk today. This was taken as we headed for the gate to leave Benmore Gardens as the last sun slanted through the trees and lit up this one autumnal branch on a tree that has largely yet to turn.

This on a day that included a Harvest Thanksgiving and a whirligig full of holiday washing (all dry now, thank you ...)
